San Diego Beach Maternity Session | Rebecca + John

Maternity

August 5, 2022

Oh, how I love maternity sessions. There’s just something so peaceful and elegant about them. This San Diego beach maternity session was no different. I spent a wonderful evening with Rebecca and John. We had perfect weather and the session ended with the most beautiful sunset. This beach has so much to offer and is one of my favorite locations to shoot at. This session also happen to fall during low tide which made for glossy gorgeous reflections for Rebecca to show off her sweet baby bump. I really enjoyed getting to know Rebecca and her husband. It’s always a joy getting to see and capture the excitement on the parent’s faces. They are filled with anticipation and it’s the best!

John and Rebecca brought their dogs along and it was so fun getting to capture their growing family with the pups included. I love it when my couples want to incorporate their pets into their session. They’re part of the family so it only makes sense to have them in the photos! Just be sure to let your photographer know beforehand if you decide to bring your dogs with you. That way we can bring an assistant along to help watch the pups when they’re not being photographed, or we can talk to you ahead of time and have you bring a friend to help out!

KIND WORDS

“Audrey is the greatest photographer ever! She is always so accommodating and is the only photographer I know that can get beautiful photos from a photo shoot that felt like a disaster thanks to to a fussy baby or wild toddler. She’s patient, understanding and a wizard at capturing happiness in kids, even at their crankiest. She’s been shooting our family for over 6 years and has captured memories of our family that I absolutely cherish.”
